I cannot upgrade or download, it fails all the time.

Ok I bought this app and now I have to constantly use it to slowly unlock new scenes. What? For the low price of an ADDITIONAL 1.99 I can unlock the new scenes that I just paid for on top of the original 2.99 I paid for the original windy app. Ok so now Ive paid 2.99 plus another 1.99 plus another 1.99 plus another 1.99. This is adding up quick. Nice app but big rip off.

I did not want to purchase it, just see what the new sound was like. Sure enough they charged me for it. I dont like the sounds new one has. The original I enjoy. PITS!

I love apps by Franz Bruckhoff, and each one seems to get better and better! All the sounds are seamlessly flowing together as if you are picking a spot to lay in a beautiful meadow! To me, it seems as though: (or maybe Im right) It is one track in which you can drag a selector circle to focus on different parts of the track by dragging it to a certain part in the picture. For example, if you wanted to emphasize the cricket noise, you would drag the circle to the grass or bushes. There are more sounds incorporated in the track that you can emphasize such as water, other creatures, and other things if you listen carefully. I wont spoil all the surprises, though! Well, except for these. You can also control the amount of music you can hear. I love how you can choose a time of day your scene is in, also! In my opinion, the graphics are amazing and it is incredible how you can choose what sticks out in the track by dragging a selector to wherever you want! Not to mention the amazing 3D sound! Its great to calm you down, study, block noise, ect. Its so simple & easy to understand, which makes this app even better. I LOVE Franz Bruckhoff apps, and I feel like all the apps are truly original and amazingly peiced together!! If there was an app created by Franz Bruckhoff that was $25 I would still pay for it in a heartbeat. Thats how much I love his apps!

Wondrous experience... the forest truly comes to life!

I used this app for the first time last night. My partner and I have been waking up at least once or twice every night for months. Now I dont know if we were just exhausted yesterday or what; but last night with this app on, we slept all the way through the night. High hopes from two insomniacs!

Very pleasant music, sounds, and scenery. Cute idea to move a little circle around the screen to amplify the sounds I that part of the scene. Only complaint is this app rapidly drains battery when left running in the background. I went to my setting and saw it was responsible for about 50% of my total battery use!

Away needs to do away with the guarantee that the app will Never be free. Very disappointing app- while impressive with one function, it is very limited overall and definitely not worth the price. Disappointed I bought this- wish the developer had put the guarantee behind this app and not a boast that the app will never be free. Lame.

I am always amazed when I run across apps like this that appear to have had unbiased vetting. What you get with this app is a pretty picture of a tree in a forest with marginally melodic tunes in the background. I have purchased several meditation apps that concentrate on providing clean, clear music and meditative guidance, as opposed to this obvious self serving music fairyland of the author. Total waste for those that are serious about meditation.

Sunny and Windy offer multiple soundscapes, but this is one. One. For nearly $3. Not worth it.

Cant change mix of music, only the volume. Each scene is a separate $2 or $3 charge. The picture is not animated. You can turn it slightly but that is all.

I’m a law student and also have 3 children. I’ve had this app for about a week and it’s just great. I can spend a few minutes relaxing and then come back with some focus instead of reading and reading while kids scream. Previously I used the rain sound app by the same developer but it made me too sleepy during the day. I’d highly recommend Away for daytime and the rain sounds app for night time.

I am a big fan of everything Franz has done. The new UI is wonderful, creative and intuitive. I highly recommend this app to anyone who enjoys relaxing. Rant about negative reviews below: As a fellow developer, who hates advertising, I always appreciate these types of high quality paid apps. As someone who grew up on 50-60 dollar software for everything, and as someone who knows how much work goes into creating an app, it always irritates me when people complain that things cost money. In fact, several of these reviews are obviously fake (a practice app companies are using to drive down the ratings on their competitors apps, in order to make their apps look more appealing). This practice is sickening, and hurts the industry as a whole.

I always keep these apps on my phone. Its nice to see them integrate with each other so I can quickly switch between them depending on my mood. They all have some unique features. My favorite feature in this app is how you can change the sound based on the location in the scene. Very interesting.

I put this on at work when I need a little background zen. Its relaxing, calming, and puts me in a great state of mind. I can even change the time of day with my work day. Love it!!

Great sequel to his other apps. Love them all. Found the way you can pan through the pic and change the sounds emphasis to be unique. My wife has difficulty sleeping thru the night and this app seems to help her a lot. Ive enjoyed all of the series and look forward to more and updates... Thumbs up again

Love the integration with the previous apps, but is a great app on its own. Let you customize your aural atmosphere to help you focus or the take a time out and unfocus.
