I really like the controls on this one. Once I tried everything, its got to be the easiest app to adjust what sounds good to you. The graphics are a delight to get lost in. I guarantee you wont be disappointed...buy this app.

Really nice app! Great sounds. They must be really long loops as I cant hear any loop. Love this and all of Franzs apps! ***Note: the 1 star reviews were paid for. Please pay them no attention. The sounds are great and the app is stable. This is a great app and well worth the money. Request: I like the integration with the other apps, however I would like to request an easier way to isolate certain sounds, like just hear the birds, without the ocean sounds!

There are so many ways you can change the scenes and the music. Very relaxing and fun! Keep up the great work! You can change the time of day and the sounds are appropriate for the time of day. Move the orb and you can have some sounds, such as the water or the birds emphasized. Virtually limitless combinations is sounds. Love the flexibility!

Drag the cursor around the screen to hear different elements of layered nature sounds. Gentle background music. You can change beautiful artwork from day to night. Have other apps by same developer - equally as good.

Another very welcome edition to the evocative audioscape series by Franz Bruckhoff. I have yet to find another HD series with audio production values as good and that can also blend soundscapes between apps to create additional, seamless, variations. Note: Away sets a very high bar. The few, but excessively negative, reviews are not only laughable, but patently ludicrous in terms of issues I simply cant reproduce. A 1 Star reviewer is unclear about the nature of the app itself, actually railing against its stated functionality? If 1 Star wanted a music app instead of one that is primarily all about beautifully recorded HD sounds of nature, then why did 1 Star buy it? The authenticity of the Away experience provides a tremendous value, one that far exceeds its very reasonable cost. I couldnt be more pleased.

12 Mar 2016 Life seems so filled with stress, contention, and difficulties anymore driven by the constant drone of technology and demand to get things done faster. For many, a personal life seems so distant any more. "Away", is no panacea, it will not erase the stressors in life; but, it helps to put the mind at ease and helps to push the symptoms of hectic life aside enabling you to work in a peaceful environment. This app along with "Windy", "Sunny", and "Thunderspace" are well worth the few dollars you will spend and the integration of motion sensitive graphics makes them doubly enchanting and relaxing.

Very relaxing apps. The Background stories with Waves and Windy are very well written.

I love this app with the calming sounds and the relaxing images. This is just the thing to relax and unwind too. I think this is a must have for those under stress.

the best app of its kind

Pointless sounds app and mostly static scenes. Its like a postcard with annoying generic and mostly "busy" outdoor sounds. Really? If you believe this sounds like your outdoors you need to take a ride for your sanity. Its a loop track and a bit unrefined. I was not convinced. Cheap parlor tricks here. Yes it all costs actual money. Nothing to do with actual meditation.

Best quality wind sounds. I would like some urban sounds in the mix but altogether pretty awesome.
